to help ordinary citizens in the following ways:

the job done, but with an eye toward quality, safety, and
value of the tools and equipment provided.
No longer will the G.A.O. BE THE SOLE PROVISIONARY OR RENT
BUILDINGS FOR USE OF GOVERNMENT ENTITIES. IF TOOLS,
EQUIPMENT, OR SERVICES, CAN BE BOUGHT AT A LOCAL STORE, MANUFACTURER,
COMPANY, OR THROUGH AN INDIVIDUAL,
AT THE SAME OR BETTER QUALITY THAN THE G.A.O. CAN GET, AND AT A
BETTER COST POINT, AND SAVE THE GOVERNMENT MONEY, THEN IT

ANY ITEM COSTING UP TO $50,000, ANYTHING BEYOND THAT
WILL REQUIRE A BID TO PROVIDE ITEMS OR SERVICES.

TO HAVE MORE THAN $100,000 WORTH OF ITEMS OR SERVICES

THINKS IT NEEDS BASED ON THE REALITY OF THE WORLDS POLITICAL AND MADMEN ASPIRATIONS.
THE CONGRESS WILL BE ABLE TO APPROVE OR DISAPPROVE ANY ITEM IN THE PENTAGONS PROCUREMENT
WISHLIST. HOWEVER NO SENATOR OR CONGRESSMAN SHALL SUBTRACT ANY ITEMS BASED
ON THEIR LOCAL CONSTITUANTS WANTS. NO CONGRESSMAN OR SENATOR WILL BE ABLE
TO ADD ANYTHING TO THE LIST THAT THE PENTAGON PROVIDES AS THE GOAL IS TO JUST

WHERE VISITORS CAN BUY SOUVENIRS SO THAT THEY WILL BE LESS INCLINED TO
DESTROY THE NATURAL BEAUTY THE PARK PROVIDES. THE SOUVENIRS CAN INCLUDE
BOOKS, MAPS, LOCAL ART WORK, POSTCARDS, PICTURES, ETC., AS WELL AS
FOOD AND DRINK ITEMS FOR HIKERS, BIKERS, AND OTHER VISITORS.

SIMILIAR DUTIES. ALSO, BECAUSE NATIONAL PARKS ARE OFTEN IN REMOTE LOCATIONS,
HOUSING WILL ALSO BE PROVIDED TO PARK RANGERS EITHER AT THE PARK ITSELF OR NEARBY.

Will the Tea Party continue to hold the government hostage?
Tonight the Democrats and Republicans agreed to another stop gap measure to fund the government through the middle of next week. The major sticking points were the funding to Planned Parenthood and E.P.A . oversight of our air and water quality. The Tea Party and the Republicans are trying to make an ideological argument for dropping womens health services and consumer protections on envirnmental issues into key issues in a budget battle that the Republicans kept blocking in the senate last year. Senator Mitch Mc Connell is noteworthy in the fact that he decided last year not to let the fiscal year 2011 budget go through until there were more republicans to fight for their social issues in the house and senate. Mc Connell believed ,erroneously, that the republicans would be controlling both the house and senate after the last election cycle.
There is much to be concerned about in this budget bill. All we know is that it has 39 billion dollars in cuts, which will mostly affect the poor and middle class. There also is reportedly some more tax breaks for businesses and the wealthy in this country which should not be in this budget bill.
There will be more fights to come during the next few weeks and months on the Ryan Plan to get rid of social security and medicare and replace it with a block grant to states to subsidize, for seniors who will now have to buy insurance on the open market, insurance payments to private companies so those companies can make a huge profit on the backs of seniors and take that money out of the federal government for replacement of medicare and medicaid. It is a subsidy to seniors to buy insurance on the open market, and if Ryans previous bill, is what he is basing the amounts on, then seniors will only get about $2500.00 in tax subsidies to buy their insurance out of pocket. the CBO says it will cost seniors about $20,000.00 more in out of pocket costs under the Ryan Plan. Most seniors I know, don't make nearly enough money to be able to afford those kinds of costs. The better way to protect medicare is to raise the tax on medicare and to allow everyone to be able to buy into medicare. After all medicare only has a 2% overhead cost for administration vs private insurance overhead costs of between 10-50% based on the high CEO pay and the dividends for shareholders. Also Ryan wants to get rid of the healthcare law which ends discrimination of pre-existing conditions as a reason to deny people healthcare. Did you know that just being a woman is a pre-existing condition that an insurance company denies healthcare to on a regular basis? Also that women pay more for insurance than men for the same policy? Currently there are over 600 reasons that an insurance company can deny you coverage for, from the mundane, like acne, to the serious, like heart disease. Here is just one insurance underwriters web site out of California which lists just a few of the reasons that you may be denied insurance:
http://www.insurance.ca.gov/0100-consumers/0070-health-issues/ind-health-insurance-underwriting-ab-356.cfm
If you one of the lucky people out there who doesn't have a pre-existing condition or the family history or propensity for various disease processes, CONGRATULATIONS! You have been lucky enough to have been blessed with fantastic genes. The majority of us are not so lucky as you. I personally have at least 6 of the items on that list which would either deny me coverage outright or cause me to have premiums much higher than I could ever possibly afford. Is that fair? Is it fair that anyone could be denied coverage just because of family medical history? How can we claim to be an inclusive people and still deny people basic human services? No one in this country should ever have to go with out the basics of food, shelter, clothing, education, a job, and medical care. Anyone who would deny anyone else the same privileges that they, themselves recieve is a selfish idiot. 100% employment however is frowned upon by the fed and the chamber of commerce. Presumably because it would send wages and benefits skyrocketing as people could easily jump from job to job looking for the best deal.
Another problem with the Ryan bill is that it really has nothing to do with reducing the national debt. Instead what is in it is a severe reduction in social programs which help the elderly, disabled, poor and middle class and takes most of the 4.3 trillion dollars in savings and gives 4.2 trillion of it to the rich and multi-nationals in the form of tax breaks and subsidies. Once again giving a huge windfall to corporations and the rich, at the expense of the poor and middle class. The better idea again would be to go back to the tax rates of the 1950's and 1960's when the highest tax rates were 90+% . Back then companies actually put money back into their companies and expanded them instead of taking the money out of the business and sending it into an account overseas. The wealthy still did really well, much better than anyone else in the country, but there was also a vibrant and growing middle class at that time too. The wealthy were more apt to give their employees an excellent wage because they could write it off as a business expense, and therefore lower their tax bill. Instead of that economy, we have been using the Reagan failed policies of trickle down economics which does not and never will work. The republicans keep trying to expand that failed policy by giving out even more tax breaks to the wealthy and multi-national corporations in the mistaken beleif that it will work this time. It hasn't worked since Reagan tried it in the 1980's there is no reason to believe it will work now.
The other major fight is the raising of the debt ceiling. The Tea Party Republicans would love to shut the government down on that issue. If they do, I shudder to think of the massive and far ranging implications of such a move. It would cause another world wide recession if not another depression, Interest rates would sky rocket into the double digits, and we would experience hyper-inflation, the likes of which we have never seen before. The hyper inflation would mean people would not be able to feed their families, as a loaf of bread may suddenly be $20-25, a gallon of milk would be $10-15, and a jar of peanut butter would be around $50. There would not be very many people who wouldn't be starving in such a situation.
Social programs are the life blood and the safety net of our society. Especially now when there are so many people out of work and have been for a long time. We need to make sure that the least among us are taken care of , whether that means the sick, the elderly, children and the unemployed. All who want to work and who are able to work need to be given jobs, even if it means you just pay people to pick up garbage along our roads and highways, as a way to earn an honest living until something better can come along for those people. Or you could have them in nursing homes, which are notoriously understaffed, to help take care of those patients, who are otherwise being neglected, due to lack of staffing and funding of those institutions. There should be lots of areas where the government can put these people back to work, on a temporary basis for a couple of years until the economy gets back on track. Too many cuts in the budget will only serve to send us back into another recession or depression.
There is much to be concerned about in this budget bill. All we know is that it has 39 billion dollars in cuts, which will mostly affect the poor and middle class. There also is reportedly some more tax breaks for businesses and the wealthy in this country which should not be in this budget bill.

Governor Scott Walker DICTATOR
Dictator Governor Scott Walker has said that he will sign the illegally voted on bill
into law as soon as possible. This bill is nothing more than a major power grab.
It strips public unions of their ability to collectively bargain for things like decent wages,
decent working conditions, and other benefits like healthcare. It also allows for discrimination against LGBT individuals in this state. There
also will be major de-regulation of corporations and utilities. No more consumer protections for anyone living here in this state either.
It also gives Walker the absolute power to fire any and all current government workers, give away
Wisconsins publicly held utility companies, with no oversight or input into how the transfer takes place.
It gets rid of the Public service commission which regulates nuclear and other forms of electrical power generation.
I believe Walker will be turning those utilities over to Koch Industries as soon as possible.
I also believe that almost all current workers at those facilities will be fired so that the Koch brothers can put their own untrained staff in place.
If you are one of the few who is not fired it will only be a temporary situation for you , as the Koch bothers will need someone at least temporarily to train their scab workers.
Teachers may get spared until the end of the school year at which point Walker will likely fire all teachers,
social workers, janitors, bus drivers, and anyone else whom the governor believes he doesn't need to work for the state.
He will likely then turn over the schools over to corporate interests, who can then brain wash your children into believing that they are only worth a $5.00/hr wage.
I would suggest that anyone who lives within 30 miles of a nuclear power plant to move away, as there will likely be releases of nuclear material into the air and water until Koch industries can train their new employees.
Don't be surprised when your utility bill goes up 400% either as Koch Industries will
have a virtual monopoly on energy production and distribution in the state of Wisconsin.
Please help with the recall efforts to get rid of those republicans who voted for this illegal bill. Operations are underway right now to recall 8 republican state senators and that needs to get expanded to include assembly men as well.

These numbers need to be confirmed with the elections board.
Hopefully those who are in the districts of those listed, can get together with their neighbors and get this done. This is the website to go to in order to read the bill that many in wisconsin want removed. http://legis.wisconsin.gov/2011/data/JR1SB-11.pdf

My letter to Obama 02 09 2011
President Obama,
You keep proving by words and actions that you are no better than republicans when it comes to helping the poor and the middle class. You, like your republican co-workers as well as the Democrat co-workers keep proving time and time again that you are not to be trusted. 98% of you in the federal government are bought and paid for by big business. Your love of office verses the greater good of the rest of the country takes a backseat to the promise of a better life for those of us who are not in the top 2% of income. You & your colleagues keep taking kickbacks, which anywhere else in the United States would be called taking ILLEGAL BRIBES and EXTORTION. I thought you said you were going to clean up Washington DC, but instead you became part of the problem. You are taking your marching orders from lobbyists instead of the will and needs of the American people. MONEY IS ALL YOU PEOPLE ON CAPITAL HILL CARE ABOUT AND TO HELL WITH THE REST OF US WHO ACTUALLY PAY YOUR SALARIES!!! SHAME ON YOU ALL!!!!!
As you can see I'm not happy with the president or nearly anyone else on Capital Hill. Extortion and kickbacks are the normal way that Washington operates, and neither party is any better than the other one. They have both proven their willingness to be steered by lobbyist into giving them what their big corporate donors want: LOOPHOLES THAT ALLOW CORPORATIONS TO PAY LITTLE OR NO TAXES AND AN END TO REGULATIONS THAT PROTECT CONSUMERS, AND THE VULNERABLE OF OUR SOCIETY FROM BEING PREYED UPON BY THOSE SAME CORPORATIONS.
There are things that average Americans can do, but it will take a willingness to ACT, which is something most Americans are unwilling to do. We can have demonstrations like they are having in Egypt in order to force our politicians to reform campaign finance laws and make it illegal for lobbyists to operate and bribe our elected officials. We can also force them to RESCIND the right of corporations to BE COUNTED AND TREATED LIKE A HUMAN INSTEAD OF A BUSINESS ENTITY. Corporations keep believing, (and the law has allowed) that they should have the human right of free speech, which for them means, throwing as much money as they can at a campaigns in the form of issue ads, that don't have to tell the truth about any issue that they are trying to sway voters on. Also it means being able to pay lobbyists to bribe our politicians with campaign donations in return for bills and laws that favor them instead of the overall well being of the American people. I have found that most Americans are lazy when it comes to trying to find out an actual truth about an issue, and instead believe whatever their favorite party and ads tell them to believe. Most people are unwilling to take the time and effort needed, to make an actual informed decision, about any issue at hand.
How do we change the American apathy? I don't know. I suspect however if the gap between the rich and poor gets much nwider that there will be a civil and social war that will make the original civil war look like nothing. The few rich (and those that they can brainwash into believing that the rich actually help them) will be at war with the masses of poor i n this nation. The difference will be numbers of the poor and middle class verses the best weaponry and well trained armys that money can buy. I'm not sure who will win but I'm positive that America as a whole will lose in the long run unless we can equalize pay and opportunities for the majority of the country. There should not be such a gap in income, that is created in part by a tax code that favors the extremely wealthy over the rest of us. The extremely wealthy, after al,l can pay lobbyists and politicians to tweek the tax code in their favor, while the rest of us are at the mercy of the whims of the rich and the politicians.
Republicans are proving time and time again that the only people that they care about are the very wealthy and the multi-national corporations that use tax havens and loopholes in tax code to not pay their fair share.
The Republicans have come out with their plan to take food out of the mouths of the poor, to take medicare out of the hands of those who need it most, eliminate a great potion of the pell grant and federal educational loan program, and get rid of any possibility for jobs for anyone who is currently unemployed as well as the safety nets that are supposed to help them.
The game is rigged and Americans had better wake up soon or they will find themselves with no social security, no retirement, no worker safety(OSHA), an environment that is toxic(EPA), no safety of food or drugs(FDA), no product safety(CPSC), no right to an education, and no medical careamong other things. All those things that I believe should be considered HUMAN RIGHTS will be reserved only for the wealthy and those who can afford such things. No one wants to pay more in taxes, but in a free society, it is the price one pays for the programs and services that most people in the United States wants. You must make a choice:
DO YOU WANT: pay more in taxes pay less in taxes
